Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) invites applications for Project Scientist on contract basis to work on Research & Development (R&D) Projects.

M.Tech/ M.S. / M.Sc or equivalent in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Science/ Atmospheric Science/Oceanic Science/ Meteorology.

Good Knowledge in Adaptive Signal Processing, FORTAN, NCL, Grads, and MATLAB.

Note:▪
- M.Sc or equivalent qualification should be in First Class with minimum 65% of Marks or 6.5/10 CGPA.
- M.E/M.Tech or equivalent qualification should be in First Class.
- Age limit: 35 years as on 30.04.2012 (SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-servicemen/ Persons with Disability (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per rule).
- Remuneration:
- For M.Sc or equivalent degree holders Rs: 30,000/- (consolidated) per month.
- For M.Tech/M.S or equivalent degree holders Rs: 35,000/- (consolidated) per month.
General Conditions/ Instructions:
The tenure of short term contract appointment is for a period of TWO YEARS.
- Candidates should enclose attested true copies of the relevant certificate/ testimonials along with the application.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-servicemen/ PWD should produce copies of the relevant certificates issued by the Competent Authority to that effect.
- The Institute reserves the right to terminate the assignment at any time before completion of the contract appointment, if it so decides.
- Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
- No interim correspondence will be entertained.
