ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited (OTPC) is setting up a 726.6 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT with 9FA machine) thermal power plant in the state of Tripura at Palatana to supply power to entire North-Eastern Region of the country. The project site is located on Udaipur - Kakraban road at about 9 kms from the District head quarters of Udaipur and is about 60 kms from the capital city of Agartala. The site is connected by a state highway to Udaipur with onward connectivity to Agartala by NH-44 and Agartala Airport.
